Finding credit

PAYG credit can be included on the mTrak website and texts from the mTrak units if the unit can find the credit from the mobile network

The mTrak units can find the credit in one of two ways, either by short code or by text.

Short code

The mTrak units find the text with a short code that usually ends in "#"

Networks that support this include:-

  • Vodafone (code *#1345#)
  • Lebara Mobile (code *#1345#)

If you can't find the credit like this, you should register the SIM with the network website, so that you can see the credit there. Although the mTrak will work without knowing the credit, it is very difficult to know when to top up if you don't know the credit.

The credit is checked by the mTrak after a text is sent, so if you have only just added credit, the new credit won't be shown.

O2 seem to show the credit about £1 low when GPRS is active.
